I chose to create my spa website, and spa design as a whole to match the Japanese art of mending broken pottery is called "Kintsugi.” which translates to "golden joinery". Kintsugi emphasizes not just repairing the pottery, but also celebrating its imperfections by highlighting the cracks and breaks with gold or silver. Kintsugi is more than just a repair technique; it's a philosophy that celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the strength that comes from embracing scars. It's a way of finding beauty in the stories of a broken object and seeing it as a testament to its history and resilience. I chose this because as a cancer patient or survivor, you aren’t broken, sometimes you just need to find your own beauty.
